The big dot front sight and open rear sight allow a greater field of view down range, increasing the front sight acquisition speed. The simple dot-the-i sight picture reduces sight alignment time by eliminating an extra focus point compared to traditional notch and post sights and prevents confusing the front and rear sight if you're in a high-stress situation or in low light. DXT2 Sights are available in a Standard Dot (0.140”) or Big Dot (0.188”) front sight. The center of the front sight post has a tritium insert combined with a high contrast photoluminescent ring to provide a visible front sight in bright daylight into complete darkness.
R3D Night Sights offer an enhanced notch and post sight picture, built for a lifetime of hard use. All XS sight systems are designed around highly visible front sights to enhance front sight focus. R3D sights feature a brighter tritium vial in the front sight to increase front sight focus. The rear features a simple blacked-out face with a wide notch to increase visible light around the front post.

Brief History of Glock
Glock was founded by Gaston Glock in 1963. Some of the earliest products produced by GLOCK GesmbH were curtain rods for the consumer market and knives and entrenching tools for the Austrian military.
When the Austrian military began looking for a new service pistol in the 1980's, Glock assembled a team and began design and development of a new handgun. The Glock 17 9mm pistol was the result of that effort, and it quickly became the service pistol for the Austrian military.
The Glock 17 proved to be such a successful design that it was soon adopted by militaries and police forces around the world. Today, Glock handguns are some of the most popular on the market, with models like the Glock 19, Glock 26, and Glock 43 becoming household names.

Glock 17: The Glock 17 is a 9mm semi-automatic pistol that was first introduced in 1982. It is the Glock service pistol for multiple militaries and police forces around the world.
